PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME HILUX VEHICLES MADE BETWEEN 2005-2008 HAVE HAD A UNDER BONNET MODIFICATION DONE WHERE A BLACK METAL PLATE WAS RIVETED ONTO THE INSIDE FRONT LEADING EDGE OF THE BONNET.

IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS HAD THIS MODIFICATION DONE TO IT, THE MOUNTING HOLES FOR THE BONNET PROTECTOR WOULD HAVE BEEN BLOCKED OFF BY THIS PLATE, AND YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL THROUGH THIS PLATE AND OBTAIN LONGER SCREWS IN ORDER TO FIT THE BONNET PROTECTOR.
